Our Impact

Ayindisa works directly with over 36 artisans and producers in Ghana, West Africa. We collaborate and build partnerships with non-profit organizations, micro-financing institutions and fair trade certified wholesalers in Asia, Latin America and other developing regions of the world. Furthermore, we utilize our partnerships with some of these organizations to help develop the producer's skills and assist them in becoming more economically self-sufficient through product design, money management training and market access.

We are more than just an ordinary retail and online store because Ayindisa's foundation is built on fair trade principles and practices, which directly address disadvantaged communities and producers around the globe in positive and tangible ways.

• work diligently to educate our customers and local communities and we actively seek and accept invitations to speak and conduct workshops at local/regional schools and Universities concerning our business model and fair trade.

• We provide our artisan biographies, product information and other materials to customers in our retail store, website and blog.

• Ayindisa is also an educational resource center where we develop social networks with organizations and individuals in our community. Please visit and talk with us about your organization or cause.

• We host social justice and cultural events and allow other organizations or individuals to use our retail space for awareness raising, campaigning and other pertinent activities.
